This tracker is adapted from the lovely “Winter Bingo” idea introduced to me by Aniko from the Minimalist Bullet Journals Facebook group. Here is my version of the Bingo tracker – Creativity Bingo to kick off the New Year by taking action on creative projects I’ve been wanting to tackle.

Like Winter Bingo, the concept is simple – fill a 5 x 5 grid with small, doable projects, and like Bingo, try to complete five in a row. I love this concept because like Winter Bingo this isn’t a list of to-do’s to accomplish. It’s more like a buffet – and all you have to do to “win” is do five in a row.

It was alarmingly easy to come up with twenty-five projects I’ve been wanting to do. These are just a sampling of saved ideas from my Pinterest boards and YouTube.

One thing I tried to accomplish was to limit the tracker to simple projects, leaving off big time/energy/money consuming undertakings like painting murals or making quilts. My aim was projects that could either be finished in an hour or less, or easily broken into time blocks of 30 minutes or less.

I’m already realizing I’m going to have trouble reining in my tendency to think “MUST CHECK OFF ALL BOXES!” Noooo – that is not the object, “Type-A” self!

If you’re wanting to get more creative in the coming new year, give this idea a try!

If you’d like to check out the projects I included on my Creativity Bingo page I listed the “linkable” ones below.

I’d love to see your Creativity Bingo pages and hear how they worked for you. Feel free to comment here or to post your pics on the My Time to Create Facebook page!

Have a Happy and Creative New Year!
